Ludacris and his entire family become citizens of Gabon

Legendary American rapper, Christopher Brian Bridges popularly known as Ludacris, is now a citizen of Gabon. In a video shared on his Instagram on Thursday, January 2, Ludacris said he was very grateful for the honour.

“Starting My New Year off with Dual Citizenship! ?? AFRICA IM OFFICIAL!! Momma & Kids Too. The Best Gift of the Decade ?Award goes to @eudoxie ✊?.”

The “Fast & Furious” actor who happens to be married to Gabon born model and fitness trainer, Eudoxie Mbouguiengue alongside his entire family were granted the Gabonese citizenship status on January 2nd 2020 during his on-going African trip.

Prior to their trip to Gabon, Ludacris and family visited Ghana where they celebrated the new year as well as toured the Cape Coast and Elmina Castle to learn about his ancestors.

Along with fellow Atlanta-based rappers Big Boi and André 3000 of OutKast, Ludacris was one of the first and most influential “Dirty South” rappers to achieve mainstream success during the early 2000s. In 2014, Ludacris was featured in Forbes list titled “Hip-Hop Cash Kings”, as he earned $8 million.
