KAMPALA – Health Minister Dr Jane Ruth Aceng has announced three more cases of coronavirus in Uganda.
“3 samples confirmed positive for COVID-19 today; while 203 samples tested negative for COVID-19,” Dr Aceng tweeted.
This brings the total number of coronavirus cases in Uganda to 33.

Dr Aceng has appealed to Ugandans, to embrace the fight against the pandemic saying that it is not just a government affair but everyone’s responsibility.
“2020 comes with a new meaning,” says Dr Aceng adding that now is the time for all Ugandans to embrace “20 Seconds of washing hands with soap and water frequently, 2 Meters distance between you and another person and 0 excuses.”
Uganda has as of today not registered any deaths related to COVID-19.
