Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi popularly knowns as Tems has warned Ugandan artiste Bebe Cool to avoid Nigeria for the rest of his life.

Her outburst comes afew days after she was arrested alongside Omah Lay following a music performance at The Big Brunch, which was held at Ddungu Resort, Munyonyo,  in the outskirts of Uganda’s capital Kampala on December 12.

According to Ugandan Police, the duo including the promoter, Kasana Events were arrested for breaking Covid-19 rules.

The Nigerian artiste alleges that Bebe Cool is one of the people who spearheaded their arrest as he made a post on Facebook prior to the event, stating that he will make “every effort to fail the event.”

In a Friday December 18 tweet, Tems asked Bebe Cool to run for his life if he finds himself in a place she is at, as nothing will stop her from pouncing on him. She advised the Ugandan singer to avoid Nigeria for the rest of his life.

“@BebeCoolUG I swear AVOID Nigeria for the rest of your life. If you ever find out I’m in the same place as you. RUN for your life because I will not be in chains. And nothing will stop me from pouncing on you,” she tweeted.

She also said that Bebe Cool’s friend broke into their room and got them arrested following his call.

“@BebeCoolUG Your friend broke into our room and took us after YOU called. Only for me to see you in the DPO’s office, chilling and Laughing with him. Lmao in my presence and you thought I would sit there and allow you to speak to me. YOU are worse than shit,” she added.

According to Tems, the Ugandan artiste had ‘bribed’ the police to send him pictures of their release papers.

“@BebeCoolUG I know you before? Who the Fuck are you? You followed the police around and bribed them to send you pictures of our release papers so that you can look like you had anything to do with the release. See your head? Na pit latrine dey inside not brain,” she tweeted, adding that Bebe Cool was a “stinking dirty fucking BITCH.”

Tems and Omah Lay were released on Tuesday and upon her return to Nigeria, she released a short statement which was shared on her twitter handle. In the statement, she regretted the outcome of the Uganda concert.

“I am truly saddened that attendees could have possibly been exposed to Covid-19. I would have never participated had I even the slightest knowledge that the event would not meet standard operating procedures and put Uganda’s citizens at risk,” she wrote.

She was however, thankful to the Ugandan and Nigerian government plus all who played a part in getting the issue resolved amicably.
