Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni, has arrived Pretoria, South Africa where he is scheduled to attend the swearing-in ceremony of President Cyril Ramaphosa tomorrow, Saturday May 25, 2019 at the Loftus Stadium.

This year’s presidential inauguration ceremony has broken away from tradition by being held at a stadium instead of the Union Buildings.

The ceremony will also be attended by religious and traditional leaders, as well as other leaders from the continent including South Sudan’s president, Salva Kiir, representatives of the African Union (AU) and the United Nations (UN).

After his inauguration, president Ramaphosa will be occupied with announcing his highly anticipated Cabinet, which is expected to happen on Sunday.

All eyes however, will be on who he chooses as his deputy president following David Mabuza’s request not to be sworn in as a member of Parliament.
