Judith Babirye’s new husband files for divorce, says she denied him sex

Buikwe County North Member of Parliament Paul Musoke Sebulime has filed for divorce against Judith Babirye, a gospel singer and fellow legislator.

The divorce case filed at Makindye based family division court against Judith Babirye, the Buikwe District Woman MP will be heard next month by Justice Olive Karazarwe Mukaye.

According to the divorce petition, Musoke said he wanted dissolution of the marriage on grounds that his right to have sex with Babirye has for long been violated.

“I don’t want any ruling from the honorable court of sharing anything with my ex-wife other than dissolving our marriage once and for all,” Musoke said in his petition and that he had been denied his conjugal rights.

This development comes afew days after Babirye gave birth to a bouncing baby boy in in Boston, USA.

Africa Tembelea understands that, Judith Babirye took leave from Parliament and her marriage in April 2019 allegedly to protect herself and the unborn child.

Some media outlets have reported that Babirye made the decision so as to protect herself from her co-wives who it is claimed posed a danger to her life and had made her marriage un sustainable.
