
Dar es Salaam – Tanzania’s ex deputy health minister Dr. Faustine Ndugulile, has spoken out and revealed that he had received the message of his sacking with humility. His tweet follows the appointment of Dr. Godwin Mollel as Tanzania’s new Deputy health minister.
In a post on twitter, Dr. Ndugulile thanked President John Pombe Magufuli for the opportunity to serve, and also made mention that in the past few years, tremendous achievements had been registered at the health ministry under Ummy Mwalimu.
“I have received the President’s decision with a lot of humility. I thank JPM [President John Pombe Maguguli] for giving me the opportunity to serve in his administration…,” Dr. Ndugulile tweeted on Sunday, May 17, 2020.
“I wish the new deputy minister Dr. Godwin Mollel all the best,” he added.

– Who is Dr. Ndugulile –
Dr. Ndugulile, 51, a microbiologist and public health advocate, has served at Tanzania’s health ministry for about three years. Following a cabinet reshuffle by Preisdent Magufuli in 2017, Dr. Ndugulile replaced Dr. Hamisi Kiwangala who was moved to the tourism and natural resources docket.

Dr. Mollel, the incoming Deputy Health minister holds a degree of medicine from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences. He also serves as a member of parliament for Siha constituency in Tanzania.
