Soccer enthusiasts will once again be treated to a competitive but fun filled day when Kabira Football Tournament returns on March 31, 2019 at Kabira Country Club, Bukoto.
The tournament organised under a six-a-side system allows for very many companies to participate with the aim of promoting fitness and close cooperation among corporate companies.
“There will be eight teams, each consisting of six players to battle it out for numerous cash prizes at stake,” said Rajiv Ruparelia, Director at Kabira Country Club.
Adding that, “registration to participate in the tournament is ongoing at Kabira Club at a cost of Shs 200,000 per team.”
“In addition to networking and the many health benefits from this tournament, a lot of cash prizes will be won,” said Rajiv.
Last year, the FUFA endorsed Football tournament attracted participation from a number of corporate firms including Victoria University, Club 194, Bukoto Heights, Bet Yetu, Prozone, Riham Group of Companies, Yo Kuku, Cipla, Alpha Bet, Rainbow, Hisense, Tushar Ruparelia, Katon, Satguru, Cipla and host Kabira Club among others.
Prozone Soccer team took home the grand prize of Shs 1 million after defeating Victoria University 1-0 in the final that was officiated by referees provided by the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA).
