KAMPALA – Two Bank of Uganda security personnel have been charged with negligence of duty that lead to the disappearance of the closed banks documents.

The security duo of Mr Mollo and Ms Kyambadde who were manning the access points used by Ms Justine Bagyenda, the former BoU executive director for Supervision, when they allegedly allowed her in and out without of the Banks premises without conducting the requisite checks as spelt out in the central bank’s security manual were arrested last Thursday on orders of parliamentary committee investigating the closure of commercial banks.

Mr Mollo and Ms Kyambadde were arrested alongside the driver [Mr Job Turyahabwe] and body guard [Ms Juliet Adikot] of the embattled former BoU executive director for Supervision, Ms Justine Bagyenda.
